Thermal Sciences group

About us

The Lithuanian Committee for Thermal Sciences aims to bring together Lithuanian scientists, researchers, students and business representatives interested in (or) working in the fields of thermal analysis, calorimetry science, and technology research. The group’s activities include the development of research on thermal analysis methods with the aim of improving methods for the analysis of materials and processes that contribute to the development of advanced technological solutions.

The group initiates and participates in research, produces scientific publications, and collaborates with industry to implement innovative solutions. It also organises seminars, conferences and workshops, encourages participation in international projects, and aims to disseminate the latest information on scientific advances and innovations. A strong emphasis is placed on promoting international understanding and cooperation in the field of thermal analysis and calorimetry through regular contact with the International Confederation of Thermal Analysis and Calorimetry (ICTAC) and through scientific activities. The aim is also to promote science in society, to inspire young people to take up science, and to contribute to technological development.
